This picture is of the railway bridge, a double bridge, with at one time, a flight of 54 steps up to the island platform.
The entrance is now bricked up.
The Parish Council tried to get a preservation order placed on it when it was feared it would be demolished soon after it was closed. The Council was told that the bridge was not unique and not worthy of preservation.
